Ralph M. Late, Jr. "Buddy Randles," 67, of Lowell passed away Aug. 31, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born May 9, 1947, in Ft. Gibson, Okla., the son of Bud and Julia Mayo Randles. The family moved to Lowell in 1950. He was in the Wholesale Produce Business for many years. Buddy was also co-owner of the Tire Mart in Lowell. Preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Robert, Clarence and Thomas Randles and one sister Betty J. Randles. Survived by his wife Melissa Edge Late of the home; one brother Benny R. Randles of Lowell; two sons Benny Wayne Late of Dallas, Texas, and Brian Lee Late of Bella Vista; one daughter Samatha B. Late of Kansas City, Mo.; two stepdaughters Sherry Edge of Crestview, Fla.; Norma Morales of Winston Salem, N.C.; one stepson Nathan Edge of Crestview, Fla.; his sister-in-law, Kathy Randles of Cave Springs; and eight grandchildren. Several special friends, Roy and Cricket Patterson of Springdale, Kevin Whittington of Neosho, Mo., David Vigil of Rogers, Joseph Peterson and Harold Vaughan both of Lowell and many more. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at the First Baptist Church in Lowell with Pastor Gary Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Goad Springs Cemetery, Lowell.
