Dane Simrell

Dane Simrell, 35, passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, in Bella Vista. He was born June 23, 1979, in Springdale to Ronald V. Simrell and Kathy Simrell of Bella Vista. He is also survived by his wife, Aleshia Pistubbee Simrell, they were married Dec. 20, 2006; two children, Layne Simrell, age 7, and Kylie Simrell, age 3; his brother, Richard Simrell; his grandparents, Ronald B. and Janet Simrell of Garfield, and Carolyn Howard-Small of Bentonville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and a nephew. Dane loved his family. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1997 and was a master certified car mechanic. Dane was also a double lung transplant recipient; his first transplant was in 1992 and his second transplant was in 2002. He was an avid fisherman and collected sports cards as a hobby. Funeral services 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
