Shirley Ann Hickam

Shirley Ann Hickam, 83, of Springdale, died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born sept. 14, 1931, in Cape Fair, Mo., to Fred and Burchell Mills Carr. Shirley was a member of the Church of Christ and attended the Robinson Avenue congregation. She loved serving others and was an awesome "Granny." She married Al Hickam on June 21, 1955, in Albuquerque, N.M. He preceded her in death in 2008. She is survived by two daughters, Jo Ann Graham and husband Dale of Broken Arrow, Tammy Norvell and husband Robert of Springdale; five grandchildren, Brett Graham and wife Kristen, Adam Graham and wife Abbie, Chad Graham and wife Jordan, Robert Norvell and wife Jana, Whitney Killebrew and husband Jay; and six great grandchildren, Kate Graham, Ian Graham, Molly Jane Graham, Jack Graham, Kendall Graham and Audrey Killebrew. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Elm Springs Cemetery.
