Sammie Johnson

Sammie Lee Johnson, 94, of Rogers died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. She was born July 11, 1920, in Sweetwater, Texas, the daughter of George Curtis Massay and Madge Lee Hull Massey. She was a commercial artist and a homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Johnson Jr. on June 21, 1978; one daughter, Linda Lee Levine. Survivors include her son-in-law, Buzz Levine; her grandson, Geoffrey Levine and his wife Dara; and two great-granddaughters, Avery and Alexa Levine.
