Brenda Sue Kesner

Brenda Sue Kesner, 66, of Springdale passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born July 11, 1948, in Harrison, Ark., to Carl and Dorothy Clark Farmer. Brenda graduated from Jasper High School and attended Fayetteville Business College. She worked for Judge Jim Evans Sr. as a legal assistant. She later worked for the Springdale Police Department for 22 years, retiring in 2004. In 1990, she was voted Employee of the Year for the department. Survivors include her husband, Larry Kesner of the home; and her mother, Dorothy Farmer of Springdale. Brenda and Larry couldn't have children but had four cats, K.C., Ebony, Sugar and Miss Kitty, all survive her. Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in Elm Springs Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
