William M. Cohea

William Melton "Bill" Cohea, 68, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Oct. 13, 2014, at his home. He was born Aug. 15, 1946, in Prairie Grove, Ark., the son of Perry Atlas and Fanny Lea David Cohea. Bill was a flea market vendor or "Junk Jockey," as some say. He liked flea markets and Bluegrass music. He played dobro and upright bass. He liked spending time with his Junk Jockey friends, acquaintances made at the various flea markets, and his seven grandkids. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James (Jim) Cohea; and his wife, Eva Dean. Survivors include one daughter, Kim McCourt and husband, Scott, of Prairie Grove; two sons, Keith Cohea and Connie of Fayetteville, and Kevin Cohea and his wife, Ashley, of Siloam Springs; seven grandchildren, Emma Cohea, Charles Cohea, Alexis Cohea, Brittany Cohea, Mattea McCourt, Camryn McCourt and Mason McCourt; numerous nieces, nephews and shirt-tail kin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 10109 E. 79th St., Tulsa, OK 74133; or The Cane Hill Residence, 14075 S. Hwy. 45, Lincoln, AR 72744. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, 2 p.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.
