Ava Lee Grantham

Ava Lee Grantham of Waco, formerly of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2014. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, at Farmington Cemetery, with Elder Travis Horne officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at Moore's Chapel. Ava was born April 4, 1920, in Decator, Texas, to Henry Lee and Avo C. Walker. After moving to Texas, she worked most of her adult life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leon Grantham of 54 years; her daughter, Fran Prince; her grandson, Devin Pruitt; and her brother, Billy Joe Walker. She is survived by her daughters, Doris and Don Lewis, Carolyn Oglesby; and her son, Charles Grantham; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Banford House, 3249 W.
