Frances Jaqueline Townsley

Frances Jaqueline Townsley, 85, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at the Willard J. Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark., of congestive heart failure. Frances was born in Crandall, Ga., to Irvin and Minnie Vineyard on Aug. 19, 1929. She spent most of her life in Chicago, Ill., and worked for Delta Airlines. She was a world traveler. She married Albert H. Townsley of Watertown, N.Y., on May 7, 1966, in Chicago, Ill., and moved to Arkansas in 1979. Frances is survived by her son, F. Page Townsley, his spouse, Kirsten Dawn Townsley; niece, Pamela Irvin, nephews, Paul Sedlak and Edmund Gaffney, their spouses; and several great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert H. Townsley; and her sisters, Marjorie Sedlak and Reba Lee Gaffney. Frances will be interred at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, Ill., with a graveside service at a later date. Frances was a kind, sweet and thoughtful person and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moores Chapel.
