Sandy Hufford Ocheltree

Sandy Hufford Ocheltree of Rogers passed peacefully Oct. 12, 2014, after a long struggle with cancer surrounded by family. She was born May 29, 1951, in Bentonville to Robert Earl Hufford and Sarah Maxine Townsend Hufford. She loved the outdoors, fishing, camping and saving rescued animals. She adored her granddaughters, Megan, Morgan, Whitnee and Ally, they were the light of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Donnie Hufford. She is survived by her husband, Ernie Ocheltree of Rogers; two sons, Ted Shrader and wife, Michelle, of Bentonville, Donald Shrader and wife, Jessica, of Pea Ridge; five brothers, Mitchell Hufford of Jane, Mo., Bradley Hufford of Seligman, Vince Hufford of Best, Ark., Jason Copp of Bentonville and David Townsend of Southwest City, Mo.; two sisters, Jozanna Bartlett of Bentonville and Susan Darter of Garfield; and four granddaughters. A graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Union Chapel Cemetery in Garfield, with Pastor Donny Garner and Pastor Jo Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sisco Funeral Home, P.O. Box 54, Pea Ridge, AR 72751.
