Viva Jean Smith, 83, of Huntsville, died Oct. 10, 2014, at Fayeteville. She was the widow of Loy Ray Smith and a Baptist. Survivors: son, Greg (Terry) Smith; sister, Juanita "Nete" (Howard) McLoud; granddaughter, Kacee Blue Smith. Services 2 p.m. Monday, Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfunrealhome.net of Huntsville.
