Estelle Zucca died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville following a short illness. She was born Stanislawa Kapsa in Sallaumines, France, March 10, 1927, the daughter of Piotr Kapsa and Waldislowa Kapsa. She moved to Poland before WWII until the Nazis drove them out on the Great March out of Poland to Belgium. She met her husband of 67 years, Ottavio Zucca, an officer in the Army Air Corps. She was a war bride who moved to San Jose, Calif., where she had two children. She retired from the Rosicrucian Order in San Jose as a receptionist translator. They moved to Pea Ridge, Ark., in 2006, where they resided until they both departed in 2013 and 2014. She's preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lianna Zucca. She is survived by her son, Ronald Zucca and his wife, Rebecca, of Rocky Comfort, Mo.; and her daughter, Michelle (Zucca) Stroth of Pea Ridge, Ark. Estelle was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren, Brenna Zucca of Cassville, Mo., Joseph Zucca of Cassville, Mo., Stefanie Stroth of Dallas, Texas, Danielle Stroth of Walnut Creek, Calif.; and two great-grandchildren, Adrienne and Sterling Zucca of Cassville, Mo. Estelle was also the proud aunt of two nephews, Patrick Lefebvre of Brussels, Belguim, and Marc Lefebvre of Jodoigne Souveraine, Belguim. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2014, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Monsignor David LeSieur officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Vincent Cemetery, Rogers. Visitation 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice.
