Ora Isabelle Walker

Ora "Isabelle" Walker, 90, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, at Circle of Life Legacy Village in Bentonville. She was born June 18, 1924, in Smith County, Kan., to Homer V. Collier and Blanche Bloomer Collier. She was a former member of the Prairie Creek Country Club Women's Golf League and was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church of Rogers for over 27 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Howard Walker; one son, David Lee Walker in 2014; and one sister, Ilene Bonds. Isabelle is survived by one daughter, Patricia Walker of Rogers; one granddaughter, Brianna Avers and husband, Jason, of Ashville, N.C.; two great-grandchildren, Violet and Jubilee Avers; one brother, Homer Garth Collier and wife, Lilli, of Corte Madera, Calif.; four nieces; and one nephew. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at First Presbyterian Church of Rogers, with the Rev. Carl McCormack officiating. The family request that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Circle of Life Legacy Village, 1201 NE Legacy Parkway, Bentonville, AR 72712.
