Martha Azalea McGarrah

On Oct. 7, 2014, at 12:15 a.m., Martha Azalea "Tooter" McGarrah of Springtown, Ark., walked with Jesus through the gates of Heaven, to be reunited with her loved ones that have gone before. She was born Jan. 4, 1938, to Leah June Northup and Ira Ole Cook. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents; one brother, Ira Junior Cook; one son, James Delaney Cook; and one grandson, Jessie Wayne McGarrah. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Elden McGarrah; and five siblings, Donna Ann Sisco, Carl Rudy Cook, Marion Timmie Cook, Stanley Kenny Cook and Genoah Fayleen Conner; five children, Tammie Charleen Noah, Billie Joe McGarrah, Dobby Elden McGarrah, Jeffery Allen McGarrah and Ira Dewayne Cook; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
