Felix E. Ortiz

Felix E. Ortiz, 76, of Rogers died Oct. 5, 2014, in Springdale. He was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on Nov. 18, 1937, to the late Felix E. and Irene (Rios) Ortiz. Felix, better known as "the Bike Master," was a very caring and generous man. He is survived by his daughter, Monique Ortiz of California; three brothers, Michael Ortiz of Rogers, Arthur Ortiz of California and Robert Ortiz of California; seven sisters, Rachel Anderson of Georgia, Eva Enck of Rogers, Loretta Best of Arizona, Dolores Ortiz, Irene Compos, Martha Ortiz, Romelia Valdez, all of California; three grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved companion, his dog Shorty, who will miss him dearly. Memorial services will be on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, 700 Government Ave. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
