Linda Jo Ray

Linda Jo Ray, a resident of Berryville, Ark, was born May 8, 1945, in Berryville, Ark., a daughter of Claude and Faye (Patton) Sisco. She departed this life Oct. 1, 2014, at her home in Berryville, Ark., at the age of 69 years. Linda worked the lead line at Tyson for many years. On Feb. 26, 1966, she was united in marriage with Bobby Ray who survives her of the home. She is also survived by four sons, Roger and wife, Bonnie Ray, of Berryville, Ark., Bobby and wife, Lisa Ray, of Holiday Island, Ark., Russell and wife, Stacy Ray, of Centerton, Ark., Tony and wife, Kim Ray, of Berryville, Ark.; one daughter, Rhonda Zumalt of Berryville, Ark.; one brother, David Sisco of Berryville, Ark.; five sisters, Sharon Ashcroft of Wichita, Kan., Janice Clark of Eureka Springs, Ark., Lynn Colvin of Eureka Springs, Ark., Mary Bohannon of Eureka Springs, Ark., Joan Sharp of Eureka Springs, Ark.; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Linda Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Faye Sisco; and one brother, Jim Sisco. Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial chapel, with Bro. David Ray officiating. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial chapel. Cremation will follow the service.
