Lonna Estes

Lonna "Grammy" Estes, age 72, of Rogers died peacefully on Nov. 19, 2014, at the Highlands of Rogers. She was born on Feb. 21, 1942, to J.E. and Inelle (Capps) White. Lonna was a bookkeeper for many years, working with her husband at his Estes Backhoe Service while living in Byers, Texas. She later moved to Northwest Arkansas and worked in the UPC Department at Wal-Mart Stores. She retired from there in 1996. Survivors include her daughter, Markay Wadsworth, grandchildren, Grayson Wadsworth, Arden Donaldson and husband, John, and great-grandson, Daniel, all of Centerton. She is also survived by six siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmie Estes; a son, Jimmie David Estes; and one brother. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Cremation will follow and Lonna's cremated remains will be placed with her husband in Byers, Texas. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Alzheimer's Arkansas.
