Ralph R. Guthary

Ralph R. Guthary Jr., 79, of Fayetteville died Nov. 22, 2014, in Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 29, 1935, in Fayetteville to Ralph R. and Ellen Merie Hendrickson. Ralph retired from O.M.I. and was their farm supervisor. He enjoyed working on his farm and traveling. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold Guthary; and sister, Carol Pace; and great-grandchild, Jason Davis. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Anita Stokes Guthary of the home; four sons, Eldon Guthary of West Siloam Springs, Jerry Guthary and wife, Martha, of Westville, Okla., Arlo Guthary and wife, Bonnie, of Fayetteville, and Terry Guthary; two daughters, Brandi Guthary of Fayetteville, and Bobbie Guthary and Conrad Luker of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at Beard's Funeral Chapel, with Delmar Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery.
