Anna Alberta Justus, 94, of Fayetteville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014. She was born Feb. 2, 1920, in Tullahoma, Tenn., the sixth child of Orvis Cecil and Jessie Dewitt Robertson Pollock. She retired from Campbell Soup Company after 22 years of service. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts for each of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than being with her family and cooking for them. In her younger years, she sang gospel songs in a quartet with three of her sisters while their brother played the piano. They were known in the Elkins area as the Pollock Sisters. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Justus; a daughter, Susan; her parents; four brothers; and three sisters. She is survived by three sons, Jim Justus and wife, Betsy, of Fayetteville, Steven Justus of the home, Gary Justus and wife, Ann, of Springdale; a daughter, Ann Justus of Centerton; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Carpenter of Elkins; and one brother, Calvin Pollock of Big Cabin, Okla. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at Beard's Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Ray Baggett officiating. Burial will be in McCord Cemetery, under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Beard's Chapel.
