Marla Fay Crider, 61, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, in Springdale, Ark. She was born Aug. 19, 1953, in Fayetteville, Ark., the daughter of Mitchell and Laura Happy Bradshaw Crider. Marla was a member of First Christian Church in Fayetteville, previously the marketing director for Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, and presently employed as assistant tourism director for the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Malcolm F. Crider. Marla is survived by her two older brothers, Mike Crider and wife, Barbara, of Springdale, Ark., and Marion Crider and his wife, Carolyn, of West Fork, Ark.; her nephews, Scott Crider and wife, Morgan, of Falls Church, Va., John Crider and wife, Kiki, of Rogers, Ark., Lane Crider and wife, Stacy, of Fayetteville, Ark., and Marcus Crider and wife, Christy, of Nashville, Tenn.; and her longtime companion, Dr. Don Vowell of Hot Springs, Ark. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at First Christian Church in Fayetteville, Ark. Memorials may be made to Hospitality Foundation Education Scholarship, P.O.
