Jack Delton Bush

Jack Delton Bush, 92, of Bentonville passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014. He was born Feb. 9, 1922, in Parsons, Kan., to the late Forrest and Jennie Bush, and was a graduate of Rogers High School. During WWII he served as a B-17 gunner on over 45 missions in Europe and was highly decorated. He was a co-owner of Bush's Shoe Store in Bentonville as well as a precision machinist at Wendt-Sonis and Daisy Manufacturing. He was a longtime member of the Church of Christ. For nearly 50 years he was the loving husband of Bertha Davis Bush, who, along with his parents, brothers and son, Drexell Davis, preceded him in death. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Folks of Oklahoma; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Davis of Bentonville; four grandchildren, Randall and Julie Davis, and Steve and Sue Bohlander; three great-grandchildren; two nieces; and three nephews. A private burial will be held. Arrangements are under the care of Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.
