Gladys Gynelle Scott Wood

Gladys Gynelle Scott Wood, 89, of Rogers passed away Nov. 16, 2014, in Springdale. She was born Sept. 18, 1925, in Brightwater the daughter of George W. and Nellie Deason Scott. Gynelle formerly worked at First National Bank and was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Rogers. She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Wood; her daughter, Sue Ann Wood; two brothers, Bruce, and Sherman Scott and wife, Jessie; niece, Patricia Ventamelia; and nephew, Larry Scott. Survivors three brothers, John Scott and wife, Marie, H.K. Scott and wife, Imogene, all of Rogers, and Floyd Scott and wife, Edith, of Paradise Pine, Calif.; and nieces, Myrna Scott of Rogers, Nancy Horchler, Gynelle Walker, Linda Honeycutt and Barbara Peters, all of California; and nephews, John Scott of Rogers, George Scott of Colorado, Robert Scott and Kenny Scott, both of California. Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, and funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers, with Pastor Jim Keith officiating.
