Jackie Leon Niccum, 75, a resident of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Nov. 12, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 2, 1939, in Fayetteville, Ark., the son of Jesse Abraham and Alta Mae Anglin Niccum. Jackie retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lois Conduff; six brothers, Billy, Lester, Bob, Gene, Dale and Kenneth. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Peggy Niccum; two daughters, Brenda Seymour and husband, Kenny, of Kearney, Mo., and Bobbie Walker of Prairie Grove, Ark.; one brother, Jimmie Niccum of Arizona; five grandchildren, Kimberly Kline Bonham, Kelly Kline, Jackie Davis and husband, James, Shelby Walker and Kyle Seymour; one great-grandson, Jackson Davis. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2-3 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery. There will be no graveside service held at the cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Glisson, Mark Morehead, Jerry McDonald and Cecil Fredrick.
