William 'Bill' Bryan Burnett

William "Bill" Bryan Burnett, 70, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Nov. 6, 2014, in Siloam Springs Regional Hospital. Born June 24, 1944, in Russellville, Ark., he was the son of Frank P. and Virginia (Shinn) Burnett. He and Sylvia Starks were married July 15, 1993, in Las Vegas, Nev. Bill was a retired Arkansas state trooper, retiring as a corporal. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Ark. Bill was also a member of the Army National Guard and American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia of the home; sons, Bryan Burnett and wife, Kim, of Hagarville, Ark., and Darren Burnett and wife, Gisela, of Rayford, N.C.; stepdaughters, Denise Grindstaff and husband, Scott, of Tontitown, Ark., and Brenda Ward and husband, Brad, of Cave Springs; stepson, Bryan White and wife, Brandy, of Tontitown, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Joanne Ownbey and husband, Ron, of Russellville, Ark., and Frankie Sue Kahn and husband, Hanns, of Trier, Germany. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, at First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Ark., with Dr. Steve Abbott officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs, Ark.
