Thomas Leon Allman

Thomas Leon Allman, 69-year-old resident of Greenland, Ark., died Nov. 3, 2014, at his home. Born March 25, 1945, in Kansas City, Kan., he was the son of James Thomas Allman and Mary Louise (Bond) Allman. Thomas married Muriel Bruffett in Kansas City on May 16, 1964. He worked for many years as a driver for trash service in Kansas City before moving to Northwest Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Melvin Allman, Dean Allman and Elbert Allman. He is survived by his wife, Muriel; two sons, Thomas Eugene Allman of Springdale, Ark., and William "Billy" Lee Allman of Springdale; one daughter, Tammy Lynn Allman Moore and husband, Jerry, of Greenland; eight grandchildren, Melanie Moore, Tamara Moore, Jerry "Bubba" Moore Jr., Virginia Allman, Thomas Allman, Michael Weissinger, Aurora Allman and Emerald Allman; one great-grandchild, Arianna Calloway; one brother, Delbert Allman of Spring Hill, Kan.; and five sisters, Katherine Van Sant of Spring Hill, Donna Bader of Spring Hill, Mary Lou Middlebusher of Spring Hill, Alice Heath of Osawatomie, Kan., and Mildred Williams of Merriam, Kan. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark., with Pastor Jason Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, Ark.
