Maxine "Sue" Justine Heathman, 78, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away peacefully May 27, 2014, at Bradford House in Bentonville. She was born Dec. 15, 1935, in Wichita, Kan., to Lovell Bush Killion and Marguerite Justine Wilkerson Killion. She was proud of her Quaker heritage. She was a Max Factor saleswoman and also worked for many years at First National Bank. Sue was a member of Eastern Star and raised dachshunds. As a military wife, she and Howard enjoyed bringing up their children together as they traveled all across the world with the Army. She was a loving wife to Howard for over 55 years, and a wonderful mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard; and five siblings. She is survived by three sons, Jerry Heathman and wife, Laina, of Cedar Hill, Texas, Jimmy Lee Heathman of Rogers, Johnny Allen Heathman and wife, Jody, of Douglassville, Pa.; one daughter, Terry Guy and husband, Russell, of Rogers; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 2, at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers, with the Rev. Carness Vaughan and the Rev. Jim Keith officiating. She will be laid to rest by her husband at 2 p.m. at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northwest Arkansas, 210 N. Walton Blvd., Suite 25, Bentonville, AR 72712; or to Circle of Life Legacy Village, 1201 NE Legacy Parkway, Bentonville, AR 72712.
