Jeffery Alan Adair Sr., 63, of Garfield passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at his home. He was born March 31, 1951, in Wichita, Kan., to Herman Arthur and Mary Etta Shelton Adair. Jeffery was a driver instructor for PAM Transportation. He proudly served his country as a sniper in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid Razorback and Saints fan. He loved to read the Bible. For 55 years he raised fancy show pigeons. He was close to his dog, Oscar, who was his best friend. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one grandson, Marcus Alan Adair. Survivors include his wife, Debbie Adair of the home; three sons, David Arthur Adair and wife, Becky, of Rogers, and Jeffery Alan Adair Jr. and wife, Della, of Garfield, Nathan Adair and Lou Ann of Garfield; eight grandchildren, David Jr., Christopher, Nicholas, Justin, Tara, Shananda, Raylee and Elizabeth; and five stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, May 30, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow at noon at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
