Veda Beryl Cooper

Veda Beryl Cooper, age 88, of Sulphur Springs passed away on May 20, 2014, at her home. She was born July 23, 1925, in Hiwasse to the late Roy Winfred and Mary Elizabeth Larson Brinegar. She was a member of the Sulphur Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church and had been a homemaker. She returned to the Sulphur Springs area from Denver, Colo., 28 years ago. She is survived by two sons, Fred and David Cooper, both of Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Linda and Connie Cooper of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Alvin Brinegar of Gentry, Winfred Brinegar of Pryor, Okla.; one sister, Inez Larson of Priest River, Idaho; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dayton Cooper. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 24, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse. Memorials may be made to the Sulphur Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church. Arrangements are under the care of Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Bentonville.
