Bernadine Lee Walker

Bernadine "Bernie" Lee Walker, 93-year-old resident of Siloam Springs, Ark., died May 11, 2014, at Culpepper Place in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born July 8, 1920, in Kenny, Ill., to Leslie Derricks and Bernice Hilt Derricks. Bernie married Robert Walker on June 15, 1946, in Kankakee. She was a homemaker and an owner of a gift shop in Owasso, Okla. Bernie was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Siloam Springs and was a bridge player. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; one brother; and one sister. Bernie is survived by three children, Ron Walker and wife, Dawn, of Willowbrook, Ill., Debbie Perrault and husband, John, of Herndon, Va., and Donna Shepherd of Fayetteville; six grandchildren, Alicia Pool, Gabi Perrault, Krissy Zakrzewski, Sara Myers, Emma Shepherd and Michael Walker; three-and-a-half great-grandchildren, Letty Myers, Peyton Moyer, Stone Myers and one on the way.
