Peggy Eason

Carrie "Peggy" Louise Eason, 81, died in Oklahoma City, Okla., at Baptist Hospital, Saturday, May 10, 2014. She was born Aug. 21, 1932, in DeWitt, Ark., the daughter of Anna Marie Hearn and Herman L. Doerpinghaus. She loved spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a "People Person" and enjoyed fishing, sewing and having fun. For many years she was a cosmetologist. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and two sisters. Carrie is survived by her husband, Norman Eason of Bentonville; one son, Rodney Eason and his wife Jeanie, of Bella Vista, Ark.; one daughter, Marcella Hagan and her husband Jimmy of Bella Vista; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, May 12, 2014, from 4-6 p.m. at Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville. A celebration of her life will be Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Bella Vista Assembly of God Church with Pastor Joshua Hagan officiating. Interment was in Springtown Cemetery.
