Mildred 'Jean' Parker

Mildred "Jean" Parker, a resident of Lincoln, passed away May 5, 2014, at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 22, 1923, in Havana, Ark., the daughter of Charles Lewis and Loretta E. Gray Hollingsworth. Jean was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln. She was preceded in death by her husband, Slown Parker; and her sister, Violet Holt. Survivors include two sons, Kevin L. Parker and wife, Junita, of South Africa, and Kerry L. Parker and wife, Nickii, of Greenwood, Ark.; four grandchildren, Heather Parker-Foster, Jarrod Parker, Ofrah Parker and Sarah Parker; four great-grandchildren, Josha Parker, Kaitlyn Parker, Brandon Parker and Rome Foster. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 10, 2014, 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery; there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
