Arlene M. Mullens

Arlene M. Mullens, 86, a resident of Lincoln, passed away May 2, 2014, in Fayetteville. She was born April 23, 1928, in Saum, Minn., the daughter of Edwin and Elna Nelson Mostad. She was preceded in death by three husbands, Virgil Smith, Waymon Giles and Ralph Mullens; one sister, Donna Esterley; one brother, Gene Mostad; and one son, Kevin Smith. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Braly and husband, Glenn, of Lincoln, and Karen Schuler and husband, Philip, of Kibler, Ark.; six brothers and sisters, Janice Sievert, David Mostad, Dale Mostad, Cheryl Bauer, Linda Bergren and Maureen Smischney; six grandchildren, Michael Sanders, Sam Smith, Jacob Smith, Zachary Smith, Bobby Braly and Florence Smith; four great-grandchildren, Madison Sanders, Edward Smith, Finley Smith and Stella Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 6, 2014, 10 a.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove.
