Lorene Clark Rollins

Lorene Clark Rollins, 88, of Springdale passed away March 27, 2014, in Springdale. She was born May 27, 1925, to James and Josephine (Popejoy) Clark. On Oct. 5, 1942, Lorene married Tom Rollins Jr. Lorene was a homemaker, and later she worked at Lichlyter's and was a server at Neal's Cafe. She was a caretaker for her grandchildren and served as office manager for a number of years at Benton County Memorial Park. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, gardening, cooking and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals. She was a member of the Sycamore Baptist Church in Wheeler. Survivors include her children, Bob Rollins and wife, Amy, of Pea Ridge, Susan Tennant and husband, Jeff, of Raleigh, N.C.; grandchildren, Kellie Rollins of Fayetteville, John Rollins and wife, Lindsay, of Rogers, Tommy Rollins and wife, Jennifer, of Gravette, Adrian Tennant-Savic and husband, Nemanja, of Raleigh, N.C., Mandy Burk and husband, Gavin, of Rogers; great-grandchildren, Alexa Rollins, Payton, Garron, Caden, Patience, Paisley, Jake; and a great-great grandson, Eli. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven brothers and one sister. A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Pastors George Garner, Russell Kelley and Norman Ross. Burial will follow in Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
