Eugene 'Gene' LaRue Dixon

Eugene "Gene" LaRue Dixon, 83, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Feb. 4, 2014. He was born Nov. 5, 1930, in Culver City, Calif. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph L. Dixon; mother, Grace U. Dixon; brother, W. Edward Dixon; and stepmother, Irene B. Dixon. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda Kirwin Dixon; two children and their spouses, Charles "Chuck" and Sandy Dixon, Douglas and Martha Barraza; and three grandchildren, Patrick Dixon, Lily Dixon and Lucia Barraza. He also leaves behind his sister, J. Laura Takuma of New Bradwell, England, UK. He worked for IBM in NWA for over 25 years.
