Jimmie DeWayne Turner, 63, of Fayetteville died Monday, March 24, 2014, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. He was born Dec. 28, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, to Dee and Alita Herrell Weir. Jimmie was a devoted Christian, husband and father. He was a salesman throughout his life, and enjoyed hunting and fishing, and lived life to the fullest of his ability. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Turner of the home; four children, Shannon Capehart of Fayetteville, Jim A. Turner of Fayetteville, Jerry Turner and wife, Emily, of Springdale, Barbara Hill of Fayetteville; two sisters, Barbara Hopkins of California, Janice Dorsey of Oklahoma; three brothers, Jerry Weir, Kenneth Weir and Doyle Weir, all of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren, Gennifer Garmon, Jimmie Capehart, Patsy Turner, Meagon Capehart, Nicholas Turner, Tiffany Hill, Stephanie Hill, Chessie Turner, Annie Turner, Clay Turner, Ethan Turner; and three great-grandchildren, Isabelle Rhine, Austin Pink and Rylee Tandy. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at House of Worship. Interment will be at Round Mountain Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
