Rosalie Harrison

Rosalie Harrison, 71, of Springdale passed away Friday, March 21, 2014, in Springdale. She was born Sept. 9, 1942, in Ozark, Ark., to Melvin Eli and Leola Jane Ellison Bowen. She retired from Standard Register. She loved to laugh, played games, loved to travel with her family. She also loved her kids, grandkids and her great-grand-twins and her dog, Toby. She was everyone's grandmother and they called her "Grams." She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Sweat; her parents; and one sister, Melba Jean Phelps. Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Schwarz and husband, Brian, and Cynthia Alcorn and fiance, Jeff Pearman; two brothers, Aubrey Bowen and wife, Connie, of Ozark, and Charles Bowen and wife, Judy, of Alma; one sister, Ruth Blevins and husband, Doice, of Altus, Okla.; five grandchildren, Kayla Frakes and fiance, Esteban Ortega, Ryan Frakes, Matthew Schwarz, Rachel Schwarz and Kaitlin Schwarz; and two great-grandchildren, Ezekiel and Serenity Ortega. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
