Ora Baker, age 93, of Fayetteville died Sunday, March 23, 2014, in Fayetteville. She was born April 28, 1920, in St. Paul, Ark., the daughter of William David and Eva Elizabeth Gabbard Elam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Baker; a son, Paul Kenneth Baker; and a brother, Lloyd Elam. She was retired from J.C. Penney and was a member of Center Street Church of Christ in Fayetteville. She is survived by two sisters, Helen Winkle and Macel Edwards, both of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Christie Smith and her husband, Tracy, of Gentry, Paul David Baker of Fort Smith, and Josh Baker and his wife, Alanna, of Alma, Ark.; four great-grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Olivia Smith, Sawyer Smith and Maddison Baker. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Center Street Church of Christ, with burial to follow at Baptist Ford Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
