Oleta Faye Isbell, 79, passed away March 22, 2014, at her home in Rogers, Ark. She was born on April 12, 1934, in Corn, Okla., adopted at age 3 by Isaac and Marie Nikkel. She was the wife of William H. Isbell for 61 years. During their long life together, they were missionaries in Costa Rica and Venezuela for over 15 years. Upon returning to the States, they worked in a variety of ministries, most recently 20 years with the Hispanic Ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church of Rogers. Oleta was also a CNA, of which she was very proud. She worked for Care Improvement in NWA. She loved spending time with family and sharing the wonderful news of Jesus with all those who came in contact with her. She is survived by her husband, William of Rogers; children, Stephen Isbell of Rogers, David Isbell of Gentry, Philip Isbell of Bentonville and Marsha Walker of Gentry; sister-in-law, Eva Nikkel; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maudie McElroy; sister, Lavone Harder; and brother, Bill Brewer. A funeral service will be Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at 1 p.m. in the Immanuel Baptist Church in Rogers. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs. Her visitation will be on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
