Douglas "Doug" Hall, 71 of Springdale, AR went home to be with the Lord March 20, 2014. He was born Dec. 9, 1942, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Oren Hall and Frances (Edgerton) Hall. He was the Director of the Polk County Juvenile Home, the Director of Personnel for Polk County and the Assistant County Administrator for Polk County, Iowa. He was a retired self-employed business owner. After retiring he went back to work as a Probation Officer in Cottonwood, Ariz. He was a member of Parkside Community Church in Camp Verde, Ariz., and attended Cross Church Pinnacle Hills, Rogers, Ark. He is a very proud U.S. Army Veteran. Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, and papa. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Karen, four children, Heather Benninghoven and husband Bob of Nevada, Iowa, Mandy Hunt and husband Bryan of Springdale, Ark., Will Stoll and wife Katie of Fresno, Calif., Abbey Francis and husband Michael of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Bruce "Skip" Hall and wife Linda of Overland Park, Kan.; 17 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 25 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 26 at 11 a.m. in Hunt Chapel, Rogers, Ark., with his son Will Stoll officiating. Burial will follow at Pinnacle Memorial Gardens in Rogers, Ark.
