William Robert Hunter
William Robert Hunter of Fayetteville died Feb. 24, 2014. Born Dec. 8, 1942, in Oakland, Calif., Will remained a lifelong lover of all things California.
He had been a forest ranger and a farmer. Despite being confined to a wheelchair for more than three decades, his zest for life drew many friends and admirers. Will was proud of his service as a Marine in Cambodia, and is to be interred in the National Cemetery with military honors.
A memorial service will be held Monday, March 17, at 4 p.m. at St. Paul Episcopal Church, 224 N. East Ave., Fayetteville, Ark., with the Rev. Lowell Grisham and the Rev. Suzanne Stoner officiating.
