Freeda Pearl Miller

Freeda Pearl Miller, 86, of Alabam, Ark., died March 9, 2014, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville, Ark. She was born Nov. 29, 1927, at Alabam, Ark., the daughter of Burse and Jewell Lacy Montgomery. She was a hairdresser and attended the First Presbyterian Church of Huntsville. She was active at the Madison County Senior Activity Center, where she enjoyed beanbag baseball and dances. She was the widow of Leon Miller. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Oteeka and Phillip Baker of Alabam, Ark.; one sister, Hester Roberts of Alabam, Ark.; one grandson, Aidan Baker of Stanford, Calif.; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at the Alabam Cemetery, with The Rev. Georgia Senor officiating.
