Dallas Ray Lawrence

Dallas Ray Lawrence, 68, a resident of Spring Branch, Texas, passed away March 7, 2014, in Spring Branch, Texas. He was born March 16, 1945, in Leach, Okla., the son of Robert Earl and Ruth Plumlee Lawrence. Dallas served in the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Robert "Bob" Lawrence. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Carter Lawrence of the home; one son, Jeremy Ray Kelly of Gentry, Ark.; one daughter, Keli Shepherd of Massachusetts; one stepson, James William "Jim" Christian of Westville, Okla.; two stepdaughters, Pamela Dawn Christian of Lincoln, Ark., and Terry Lynn Bracken of Fort Smith, Ark.; five brothers, David Lawrence and wife, Joyce, of Siloam Springs, Charles Lawrence of Westville, Okla., John Lawrence of Cincinnati, Ark., Roger Lawrence and wife, Dee, of Bentonville, Ark., and Eddie Lawrence and wife, Mary, of Chewey, Okla.; two sisters, Naomi McReynolds and husband, Dale, of Dutch Mills, Ark., and Rita Randolph and husband, John, of Cincinnati, Ark. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 14, 2014, 2 p.m. at Summers Baptist Church. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ark.; there will be no graveside service held at the cemetery.
