Our precious and beloved GREGORY SCOTT GROSS, 49, of Little Rock, slipped away on March 7, 2014. He was the son of Jeanie Eoff Gross of Little Rock and J. Max Wilson of Harrison, Ark. Scott was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lillian Ellis; aunt, Elaine Scroggins; cousins, Greg Scroggins and Cheryl Ann Lindsey; and step-mother, Ann Marie Wilson. Those remaining to cherish his memory include his mother, Jeanie Eoff Gross; two sisters, Amanda Gross of Houston, Texas and Taunya Lay of Branson, Mo.; two uncles, Randy Eoff and wife Carolyn Eoff of Houston, Texas and Jim Scroggins of Harrison, Ark.; one aunt, Pam Surett of Harrison, Ark.; brother, Brent Sutton, of New Mexico; sister and brother, Patti and Jon Wilson, of Harrison; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends. Scott was born on May 3, 1964 in Harrison, Ark. and graduated from Catholic High School for Boys in Little Rock in 1982. With only days of life to live due to liver failure, Scott received the ultimate gift of a liver transplant on Oct. 29, 2009. He then considered that date as his true birthday. That precious liver served him perfectly for his remaining time here on Earth. Scott adored his dogs, ChiChi and Justice. He had an intrinsic ability for training dogs and enjoyed using this gift his entire life. ChiChi and he learned 100 tricks together! His sister Amanda said, "Cesar Millan had nothing on him." His love for animals was a passion that will not be forgotten by those who knew him. He dearly loved his family and his friends. He loved to spend time by the ocean and with his nephew, Patrick Henry Russell, in Houston, Texas. Scott was a humble man with a wicked sense of humor. He was a gracious friend to all who knew him. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, March 10, 2014 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home Chapel, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Ark. 72209, Phone: (501) 455-5800.
