Nancy McClymonds

Nancy McClymonds, 50, of Fayetteville finished her earthly pilgrimage and entered into her eternal home in heaven at 4:22 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014, at Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born to the late Pasquale Brienza and Onorina DePaola Brienza June 10, 1963, in Howard Beach, Queens, N.Y. Nancy graduated from Gloversville High School, Gloversville, N.Y., in 1981 and received an Associate Degree in Fashion Merchandising from Cazenovia College, Cazenovia, N.Y., in 1983. After relocating to Morgantown, W.Va., Nancy worked as a State Farm Insurance Office Manager for 10 years, and then was married to Tim McClymonds May 7, 1994, in Amsterdam, N.Y. In January 1999 Nancy gave birth to a son, Patrick Lee. Nancy's passion was her Lord Jesus Christ. The heart of her husband trusted safely in her, and the law of kindness was on her lips. Her son rises up and calls her blessed. Cancer neither defined nor defeated her. Now she is free, completely free in Christ; no more pain, no more curse, no more cancer; only pleasures at the right hand of God forevermore. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dominic Brienza. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Tim McClymonds and son, Patrick Lee McClymonds, both of Fayetteville; sister, Carmela Shaw, and brother-in-law Dr. Jeffrey Shaw of De Pere, Wis.; brother, Rocco Brienza, and sister-in-law, Shelley Brienza of Gloversville, N.Y.; nieces, Lauren Shaw, Rachel Shaw, and Emilia McClymonds; and nephews, Aaron Shaw and Andrew McClymonds. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Covenant Church (Presbyterian Church in America,) 4511 W Wedington Drive, Fayetteville, AR 72704. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Northwest Theological Seminary in honor of Nancy McClymonds.
