Michael Alan Berryhill

Our loving husband, father, son and brother, Michael Alan Berryhill, 48, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2014. Mike was born to Charles and Brenda Berryhill on Jan. 14, 1966, in Helena, Ark. Mike married Melissa (Battershell) Berryhill on Nov. 3, 1999, in Las Vegas, and they later welcomed two sons, Mason Alan, 9, and Van Michael, 7. Mike's love for his family was unending, and he will be missed every day in the lives of those he left behind. His legacy will continue to live on in his two beautiful sons. From sky diving to scuba diving and a love of fast cars, Mike was always up for an adventure. Often referred to as my best friend or like my brother, the loss of this dear friend will be felt in many lives. Mike is survived by his wife, Melissa; two sons, Mason and Van; his father, Charles Berryhill; two sisters, Michele Whitworth and Melanie Taber; his mother-in-law, Sheila Battershell; three brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; and nine nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda. Mike's life will be celebrated on Monday, March 10, at 2 p.m. at Callison-Lough Funeral Home on Central Ave. in Bentonville. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a college fund for Mason and Van at Arvest Bank. Checks/donations can be given to the "Berryhill Scholarship Fund."
