Helen McKee Littleton

Helen McKee Littleton, 90, a resident of Broken Arrow, Okla., passed away March 4, 2014, in Broken Arrow after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born Feb. 6, 1924, in the Illinois Chapel Community, the daughter of Garland A. and Florence A. Kilgore McKee. Helen had a very successful life when she graduated from Prairie Grove. She went to Washington, D.C., where she worked for the Pentagon Naval Department. She then moved to Guam where her husband was stationed. She then moved to Tulsa where she graduated from Tulsa University. She finished her career with more than 30 years at Badger Meter. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jerry McKee. Survivors include one brother, Coy McKee and wife, Della, of Prairie Grove; two sisters, Marlea Eames and husband, Don, of Jenks, Okla., and Willene Self of Okmulgee, Okla.; lots of nieces and nephews, which she loved very much. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014, 11 a.m. at the Illinois Chapel Church, near Prairie Grove, with Lynville Eaden and Matthew Gray officiating. Burial will be in Illinois Chapel Cemetery. No graveside services will be held at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adrian Self, Kelvin Self, Dewain McKee, Traves McKee, John Allen Feltner and Eric Feltner.
