Charles Edward Kamensky

Charles E. Kamensky, 76, died Feb. 28, 2014, in Rogers. He was born on May 19, 1937, in Rockford, Ill., to the late Edward and Mabel (Williams) Kamensky. Charles enjoyed bowling and golfing, and was an avid Razorbacks fan. He also enjoyed gardening and landscaping, backyard cookouts with family and friends, going to arts and craft fairs, and traveling around Arkansas and Missouri with his beloved wife, Carol. Charles married Carol June Cunio in 1958 and 10 years later moved to Arkansas from Boulder, Colo. He worked as a meat-cutter from 1956-1982. For the next 10 years, he worked in loss prevention with Walmart until retiring in 1993. He is survived by sons, Mike and Kevin Kamensky of Rogers; grandson, Jason Kamensky and wife, Jennifer; great-grandson, Cory; and a great-granddaughter on the way; sister, Elaine (Kamensky) Levey of Merritt Island, Fla. He is preceded in death by wife of 43 years, Carol Kamensky, who passed in 2001. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.rollinsfuneral.com.
