Jerry Wayne Roland, Sr.

Jerry Wayne Roland Sr., 61, of Pea Ridge passed away Thursday, Feb. 27. He was born Sept. 4, 1952, in El Dorado, Kan., to the late Melton William and Wanda Lee Guyll Roland. He was a retired screen-printer from Walmart who enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and gemstone collecting. Mr. Roland was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jimmy Roland. Survivors include his loving wife, Janice Roland of the home; a son, Jerry W. (Brandi) Roland Jr. of Bentonville; 2 daughters, Janelle Marie Roland of the home and LaTrisha Rae (Rick) Krogman of Green Forest; a sister, Deborah Kay Wright of Witter; a brother, Melton William (Barbara) Roland Jr. of Washburn, Mo., and 30 grand and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 3 in the chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.
