Laurel Ann Byrd-Dunaway

Laurel Ann Byrd-Dunaway, 67, of Springdale passed away June 24, 2014, in her home. She was born in Newport, Ark., on Nov. 5, 1946, to Ralph and Ann Byrd of Grubbs, Ark. She is survived by her husband, Carel Dunaway; son, Russell Wagster (Jayne) of Swifton, Ark.; daughter, Amber Mason of Tuckerman, Ark.; four grandchildren, Rowan Mason, McKenna Mason, Abbegail Wagster and Samara Mason; brother, Roy Byrd (Shirley) of Newport, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ralph Byrd Jr. Visitation will be held Monday, June 30, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Cross Church Chapel on Johnson Road in Springdale, Ark. There will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
