Kimberly Jo Fortner, 35, of Garfield passed away June 23, 2014, at her home. She was born May 15, 1979, in Rogers to Bennie Stevenson and Donna Faulk Stevenson Jordan. She was a 1997 graduate of Rogers High School, and after graduating from NTI with an LPN degree, she was Dr. Malcolm Hayward's nurse at Highlands Oncology for several years before continuing her education at NWACC, where she was working towards her nurse practitioner's degree. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Malcolm and Toy Faulk; and paternal grandmother, Mary Musteen Stevenson. Kim is survived by her husband of 12 years, Jason Fortner; and her two daughters, Madison Jo and Mallory Dawn of the home; her mother, Donna Jordan and stepfather, Randy Jordan of Rogers; her father, Bennie Stevenson and her stepmother, Geniece of Rogers; a sister, Christina Ober and husband, Shane, of Centerton; stepbrothers, Travis Edens of Rogers and Justin Edens of Noel, Mo., Jeremy Jordan of Bella Vista; and grandfather, Don Stevenson of Rogers; her father and mother-in-law, Rex and Judy Fortner, sister-in-law, Chrissie Doyle and husband, Jamey, brother-in-law, Brad Fortner and wife, Tammy, all of Garfield; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Wilds Fellowship Hall at Southside Church of Christ in Rogers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Madison Jo and Mallory Dawn Fortner Scholarship Fund at any Iberiabank.
