Evan Christopher Thomas

Evan Christopher Thomas, 16, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died June 17, 2014, in Siloam Springs, Ark. Born March 23, 1998, in Springdale, Ark., he was the son of Mark Thomas and Tracy Billingsley. Evan was a student at Siloam Springs High School where he was a member of the Siloam Springs High School band and Siloam Springs High School swim team. His interests included playing drums, guitar, piano and performing magic. Evan was baptized in 2009 and a member of the First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Ark. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Tracy and John A. Billingsley III, M.D., of Siloam Springs, Ark.; father, Mark Thomas of Siloam Springs, Ark.; brother, Owen Thomas, and sister, Alliann Thomas, of Siloam Springs, Ark.; stepbrother, John Billingsley of Rogers, Ark.; stepsister, Rachel Billingsley of Rogers, Ark.; paternal grandparents, Dr. Duane and LaVaun Thomas of Siloam Springs, Ark.; and maternal grandparents, Vic and Carla Wagner of The Woodlands, Texas; and one great-grandfather, Vic Wagner of Bedford, Ind. Honorary pallbearers will be Owen Thomas, Jace Bradshaw, John Billingsley, Jordan Norberg, Parker Hall, Dodge Pruitt, Gavin Effurd and Jackson Kelly. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Siloam Springs, Ark. Pastor Jason Kelly will be officiating.
